《五行》篇是我国儒家早期经典著作。1973年长沙马王堆汉墓出土了大量文物,其中包括帛书《五行》篇,并被国务院收录《国家珍贵古籍名录》中。本经与《论语》《大学》和《中庸》的思想一脉相承,注重的是人的道德养成,这对于现代社会主义核心价值观的建设具有重要的参考意义和价值。目前对这一经典的研究著作较少,在仅有的十几部研究著作中,几乎都集中在考据、辨义、训诂等方面,弘音著的《禅解五行篇》在对《五行》篇进行解析的基础上,从禅学的角度深入发掘其思想内涵,以使广大读者了解古人的智慧,弘扬祖国优秀传统文化。
